Ensign L.N. Phelps and family left for a month- long vacation.

Hugh White, a candidate for governor, delivered an address in Vicksburg.

Twice a prisoner of the Germans, once wounded and twice operated on in a German POW camp, Sgt. Johnnie Nosser returned home.
