Leo Koestley and May Tiller were married.

The Lions Club visited the LeTourneau plant for a luncheon and inspection of the industrial establishment.

Services were held for James K. Cagle, a young Vicksburg resident who was killed in an automobile accident near Columbus, Mississippi.

Honored as Civitans’ Lawmen of the Year were Deputy Johnny Beauchamp of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Leroy Williams of the Vicksburg Police Department and Trooper Walter Armstrong of the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
