The Indie Pro Football League held a scouting combine in Mobile, Alabama, on June 7. Nearly 150 players ages 8-18, including several from the Port Gibson Titans youth team, participated as they prepare for the league’s upcoming draft and inaugural season.

The IPFL is a start-up league that will offer per-game salaries to players ages 8 through adult. It will have approximately 40 teams spread across the country, including the Mississippi Tsunami.

The IPFL will hold its player draft later this month and plans to begin its schedule in late June.
