According to VFD Investigator Nathaniel Williams, a fire that began early Monday morning at 1411 Division St. was incendiary in nature with four points of origin throughout the house.

At around 4:40 a.m. Monday, the Vicksburg Fire Department was dispatched to 1411 Division St. in response to a reported structure fire.

“When firefighters arrived, they observed smoke and flames coming from the front of the structure,” VFD Chief Derrick Stamps said. “Crews launched an interior attack and swiftly extinguished the fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.”
