Funeral services for Isaac Ray Vaughan Sr. are to be held on Wednesday, June 18 in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the interment to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17 in the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to I Can Fly Ministries.

Isaac Ray Vaughan, Sr., a Vicksburg resident, passed away on Thursday, June 12 at his home surrounded by family and friends following a brief illness. He was 73. He worked for Anderson Tully but was a caregiver for his wife after retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, B. J. Calvin and Esther Vaughan; his brothers, Vernon Vaughan, Roosevelt Vaughan, and O.D. Vaughan; and his sisters, Sylvia Colenburg and Willie Stine Vaughn.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Vaughan; his son, Isaac Ray Vaughan, Jr.; his daughter, Tomeka LaTarsha Moore; his brothers, Leonard Vaughan and Larry Vaughan; his sister, Nina Hardin; his granddaughter, Alyshia Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
