The City of Vicksburg is holding its annual summer youth tennis camp during the month of June, and nearly 50 children ages 6-14 have attended this year’s camp.
Camp sessions are held Monday through Thursday, from 8 to 11 a.m. each week at Halls Ferry Park until June 26. Sessions focus on fundamentals, drills and games, with top local high school players and City of Vicksburg tennis director Rick Shields offering instruction.
The cost of the camp is $50 for the entire month. Walk-ups are welcome. For more information, call Rick Shields at 601-618-4757.
