Officials with the City of Tallulah announced Wednesday morning residents may resume normal water usage, rescinding a boil water advisory that went into effect Monday.

Mayor Charles Finlayson said water samples were sent to the state laboratory and have since been cleared.

“I thank all of our citizens for their patience during this latest water crisis,” he said.
