Vicksburg YMCA Cannonballs swimmer Shelby Williams won the 11-12-year-olds’ girls’ 50 yard freestyle, the 50 backstroke, and the mixed open division 100 yard individual medley in a meet against the Fitlife Flippers on Monday.

Shelby Williams won the 11-12-year-olds’ girls’ 50 yard freestyle in 30.56 seconds, the 50 backstroke in 36.97, and the mixed open division 100 yard individual medley in 1:19.41.

Monday’s meet was the only one at home for the Cannonballs during the Jackson Swim Association’s month-long season. The team will compete in the JSA’s City Swim Meet on June 28 at 8:30 a.m. at the Grit Training Center on Lakeland Drive in Flowood.
