Electronics, purse missing in burglaries

Electronics, a woman’s purse and money were reported taken in six reported weekend burglaries, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
The thefts were reported in three of the burglaries. In three others, Williams said, car windows were broken but nothing was reported taken.
A Samsung car charger was reported taken about 9 a.m. Saturday from a 2000 Honda Accord parked in the 1100 block of Belmont Street, William said. Sunday, she said, a ladies purse was reported missing about 8 a.m. from a 2001 Mercedes-Benz with one of its windows rolled down. The purse was later found in a nearby ditch. Nothing was taken.
Also Monday, an unknown amount of change was reported missing about 11:30 a.m. from a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 1300 block of Washington Street.
