Ole Miss got an early start to the weekend on Thursday night, but it’ll have to spend the rest of it working to get caught up.

Tyler Spoon drove in three runs, Joe Serrano had two hits and scored twice, and Arkansas rolled over the Rebels 10-3 in the opener of a three-game Southeastern Conference series in Fayetteville.

Ole Miss managed only five hits in the game and couldn’t take advantage of eight walks issued by Arkansas’ pitching staff. It left nine runners on base.
