Guns missing in county

Multiple guns were missing Thursday following a burglary reported Thursday in Warren County.

At 4:35 a.m. Thursday a Beretta pistol worth $599, a 380 pistol worth $640 and another 380 pistol worth $420 were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 300 block of Dogwood Lake Drive, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.

 

Gun missing in city

A gun was missing Wednesday following a burglary reported in Vicksburg.

At noon Tuesday, a 38 Smith and Wesson handgun valued at $600 was reported stolen from a 2015 Chevy Malibu on the 1800 block of MacArthur Drive, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

Cash missing from camper 

Cash was missing Wednesday following a burglary reported in Vicksburg.

At 3 p.m. Monday a small amount of cash was reported stolen by forced entry from a 2000 Chinook camper on the 1200 block of Washington Street, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

 

Man arrested for fraud

A Jackson man accused of theft involving a payment card was held without bail Wednesday.

Charles Thomas, 54, 6647 Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive Jackson, was arrested Tuesday at 10:35 a.m. and charged with credit card fraud, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Thomas is accused of garnering a $3,500 debit on his friend’s credit card at a casino, Williams said. The incident was initially reported Nov. 10. During this time Thomas was taking care of his friend who had recently had surgery, Williams said.

 

Man arrested for conduct, warrant found

A Natchez man accused of disorderly behavior was held without bail Wednesday.

Zachary Mason, 40, of Natchez, was arrested at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday and charged with disorderly conduct, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

After a records check, the arresting officer discovered Mason had a warrant from the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Williams said.

 

Man shoots own leg on accident

A Warren County man allegedly shot his own leg by accident Monday.

The incident was reported Monday on the 5600 block of Gibson Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records. The gunshot victim was transferred to Jackson, and his condition is not known, according to Warren County sheriff’s records.
