Chocoholics beware, the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation will hold the 8th annual Chocolate Affair Thursday.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the SCH Auditorium, and for those who crave all things chocolate the night will be “scrumptious,” SCHF executive director Stacey Massey said.

The chocolate desserts and drinks are kindly being sponsored by Ameristar Casino & Hotel, Bovina Cafe, Cedar Grove Mansion Restaurant, KJ’s River Town Grille, Main Street Market, Roca/10 South, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, The Mad Baker, Walnut Hills, and Wine House.

He has recorded his second album, which is due out in May with former Wilco and Uncle Tupelo drummer, Ken Coomer.

Accompanying Mitchell on the drums will be Cochrane McMillan, from Tea Leaf Green.

Tina’s Flowers & Gifts will provide decorations for the 8th annual event.

Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers and are available in advance only at the SCHF Business Office, Frederick’s Boutique, Paper Plus, charge by phone at 601-631-2997 and online at chocolate2016schf.eventbrite.com.
