A weekly recap of the performances of players from Vicksburg-area high schools in college football and NFL games over the weekend:

• Cornell College (Iowa) running back Patrick Brown (Vicksburg High) caught three passes for 35 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown, in a 55-36 win over Beloit College.

• Grambling linebacker De’Arius Christmas (Warren Central) had six tackles, including two for loss, in a 38-6 rout of Mississippi Valley State.

• Delta State cornerback Devontae Wilson (Warren Central) had three tackles and an interception in a 54-20 win over Shorter.

• Belhaven offensive lineman Steve Cooper (Vicksburg High) started at left guard in a 79-40 loss to East Texas Baptist. Belhaven linebacker Denarrius Noel (Hinds AHS) had five tackles and two sacks.

• New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) had three total tackles in a 36-33 win over the Houston Texans.
