Ms. Davenport was born in Vicksburg to Florence Haver and Patrick Quinn Fuller. She worked as the executive administrator for United Way in Vicksburg for over 20 years. She moved to Anniston in 2000 and immediately immersed her energy in civic and church activities. She loved people and people loved her. She was always interested in creating an easier journey for others.  She was a wonderful mother, sister, and friend. She shared her love for our Lord by teaching Sunday School for many years in Vicksburg and also in Anniston.

Ms. Davenport is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Bolls.

Survivors include her four children, Debra (Tom) Isaac of Vicksburg, Florence (Bryan) Cuneo, Margaret (Blane) Bateman, and Bryan Davenport, all of Anniston; a grandson, Richard Bateman of Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Mary Leist of Vicksburg; a brother, William Fuller of Vicksburg; extended grandchildren, Patrick (Kelley) Cuneo, of Athens, Ga., Kathleen (John) Bradford of Smyrna, Ga., Sarah (Keith) Ward of Anniston, and Paul Isaac of Springfield, Ill.; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She also had a special love for her 4-legged companion, Ginger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Interfaith Ministries, P. O. Box 1444, Anniston, AL 36202 (www.interfaithcalhoun.org) or to the Women on Missions at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1201 Quintard Avenue, Anniston, AL 36201.
