Hayley Martin pitched a complete game and had three RBIs as Warren Central beat St. Joseph, 11-1, Tuesday in Madison.

LaShanda Williams had two hits, including a home run, while Lyn Strawn and Marilyn Landers each had a pair of hits.

The Lady Vikes (4-0) were tied 1-1 going into the fifth before scoring one in the fifth, eight in the sixth and one more in the seventh.

“We finally got our bats cranked up there at the end,” WC coach Lucy Young said. “We were fouling a lot of pitches off and weren’t executing the fundamentals of batting.”

The Lady Vikes will play St. Aloysius on Thursday at 4:30 at WC.

The Lady Vikes were to play Indianola-Gentry, but the Lady Rams canceled.
