Vicksburg High scored four runs off of walks, including three in a four-run sixth inning, to earn a 6-4 road win over Clinton on Tuesday.

Brandi Parker went 3-for-4 with an RBI single and LaToya Trunell added an RBI single for the Missy Gators (11-2), who scored single runs in the first and fourth innings but saw Clinton (1-5) match them each time.

“We didn’t really force a win, they just put themselves in a precarious position and we did what we had to do,” said VHS coach Josh Harper, whose squad has won six in a row. “A win is a win and today it’s wrapped in green and white.”
