DOROTHY GRAYER

Services for Dorothy Grayer were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Christian Center with the Rev. Ollie Hardaway Jr., officiating. Burial followed in the City Cemetery.

Mrs. Grayer died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at her home. She was 70.

A homemaker, Mrs. Grayer was a member of Faith Christian Center and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by a son, Leon Bailey; a brother, Ernest Jones; and three sisters, Fredonia Smith, Ida M. Long and Melissa Jones.

She is survived by her husband, George Grayer of Vicksburg; five sons, Roosevelt Bailey of Vicksburg, Thomas Grayer of Newport News, Va., and George Grayer Jr., Mickey Grayer and Donnell Grayer, all of Seattle, Wash.; six daughters, Ida M. Allen and Antoinetta Grayer, both of Vicksburg, Gladys McElrath and Rosetta Noble, both of Joliet, Ill., Virgie B. Thompson of Indianapolis, Ind., and Annie M. Nelson of Leesville, La.; three sisters, Alberta Long of Oakland, Calif., Beatrice Hollins of Seattle and Roxie Sims of Vicksburg; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
