ISAC MAYS

PORT GIBSON Isac Mays died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 86.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Elmira Gibson-Henderson, and six brothers, Frank Mays, John Mays, Robert Mays, Percy Gibson, Ed Mays and David Gibson.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Ann Watson of Port Gibson; three nieces, Deborah Hill and Afenia Hill, both of Detroit, and Patricia Jones of Brandon; his caregivers, Dan and Mary Nash of Port Gibson; and other relatives and friends, including Mae Emma Woods and Ethel Curry, both of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Come and See Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Eddie Walls officiating. Burial will follow at Shortfork Cemetery in the Engleside community.

Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson and from 1 p.m. Sunday until the service at the church.
