HENRY LYONS JR.

Henry Lyons Jr. died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. He was 54.

Mr. Lyons was retired and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lyons Sr. and Willie Butler Lyons; and a brother Jimmy Lyons.

Mr. Lyons is survived by a son, Michael Williams of Vicksburg; a daughter, Linda Kaye Williams of Vicksburg; four brothers, Willie Lyons, George Lyons, L.J. Lyons and Al Lyons, all of Vicksburg; a sister, Agnes M. Lyons of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other relatives.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

ROSALIE M. NASH

Services for Rosalie M. Nash wERe at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Givens M.B. Church in Yokena with the Rev. Melvin Bolden officiating. Burial followed at Yokena Cemetery.

Mrs. Nash died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 80.

Mrs. Nash was a retired social worker with Mississippi Action for Progress. She was a member of Mount Givens M.B. Church of Yokena and St. John’s Burial Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete Minor and Isador Bass Minor; and a grandchild, Henry Kent Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Georgia Bell Kent of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and other relatives.
