A.D. BOYKINS
Services for A.D. Boykins will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Boykins died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at his home. He was 40.
He was an employee of the City of Vicksburg Water Department. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Rosie Miller; his paternal grandmother, Lillie Ann Miller; and one brother, Joseph Boykins.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Carson of Vicksburg; his parents, Adel Miller and Mable Miller, both of Vicksburg; four sons, William Boykins of Shreveport, and Phillip Carson, Caleb Carson and Jebroski Shelton, all of Vicksburg; six daughters, La Toya Carson, Dionne Carson, Takeia Carson, Kyra Carson, Kayla Shelton and Jennifer Shelton, all of Vicksburg; six sisters, Annie Cartlidge of Mayersville, and Minnie Martin, Deloris Miller, Tameka Wilson, Bobbie Wilson and Tiffany Wilson, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, Earnest Stevenson of Vicksburg and Donald Ray Miller of Los Vegas; and other relatives including George Regan of Hollandale.
WILLIE NAPOLEON
Willie Napoleon died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson. He was 75.
Mr. Napoleon was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Leanna Napoleon.
He is survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives including Betty Napoleon of Vicksburg.
Services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Ruby Smith officiating under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
CARMELLO NOTTO
Carmello Notto died Monday, April 2, 2001, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 64.
Mr. Notto was a native of Italy and had lived in Vicksburg since 1992. He was a member of New Vision Family Worship Center.
He is survived by children who live away from Vicksburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Rick McAllister officiating under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
