Vicksburg paramedic Tammy Jones tends to Angela Sepulveda, 18, 435 Ridgewood Drive, after an auto accident on U.S. 61 South at about 5 p.m. Wednesday. Sgt. Robert Jackson of the Vicksburg Police Department said Sepulveda was traveling south on the four-lane highway when her vehicle collided with one driven by Kathy B. Friar, no age available, 3360 Redbone Road, which was turning west onto Warrenton Road and crossed the southbound lanes. Jackson said Friar was cited for failure to yield. Friar and Sepulveda were admitted to ParkView Regional Medical Center and were in stable condition Thursday morning, a spokesman said. (The Vicksburg Post/C. TODD SHERMAN)
