RUBY LENA BEARD

TALLULAH Ruby Lena Beard died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at North Monroe Medical Center. She was 73.

Born in Epps, Mrs. Beard had lived in Tallulah for over 50 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Lorrie Ann Beard of Tallulah; and two brothers, James McCarty of Delhi and Walter McCarty of Tallulah.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

BRAD CUMMINS

ROLLING FORK Brad Cummins died Saturday, June 2, 2001, as the result of a crop duster airplane accident. He was 25.

Mr. Cummins was a native of Cleveland and had lived in Indianola for a number of years where he graduated from Indianola Academy in 1995. He attended Mississippi Delta Junior College where he was a kicker on the football team. He also attended Ag flight training school in Bainbridge, Ga. He was employed with Nicks Flying Service and was a member of Rolling Fork United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Casey Winslow Cummins of Rolling Fork; his mother and stepfather, Dr. Danny and Sissy Jackson of Rolling Fork; his father and stepmother, Billy and Karen Cummins of Southaven; his paternal grandmother, Katie Cummins of Kosciusko.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rolling Fork United Methodist Church with Chuck Hallford officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Williams, Elton Britt, Jackie Jenkins, Paul Hollis, Chris Edwards, Cliff Smith, Kelly Perry and John Dew.

BOB GOLITZ

ANGUILLA Bob Golitz died Saturday, June 2, 2001, as the result of a crop duster airplane accident. He was 54.

Mr. Golitz was a native of Kansas City, Mo., and had lived in Anguilla since 1976. He owned and operated Anguilla Flying Service and Bob and Michael’s Carpet Cleaning Services. He received his pilot’s license when he was 16 years old. He was a graduate of Delta State University and attended Greenville Bible Church where he was a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Golitz of Anguilla; two sons, Robert Golitz of Rolling Fork and Steven Golitz of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Rebekah Storman of Hawaii; a sister, Loren Golitz of Denver, Colo.; and a sister, Janet Sudduth of Pleasant Hill, Md.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Ken Burkett officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
