GLENDA EVANS LACKEY

CUMMING, Ga. Glenda Evans Lackey died Sunday, June 10, 2001, in Atlanta. She was 61.

Born in Little Rock, Mrs. Lackey had lived in Stockton, Ala., for a number of years and was a resident of Cumming, Ga.

She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Lackey of Cumming; her son, Sam Lackey of Cumming; her daughter, Tamara Black of Cumming; her father, Count G. Evans of Vicksburg; her brother, Count G. Evans Jr. of Monroeville, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, Ala., with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery in Stockton.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bradley, Jim Murray, Carl Scivicque, Jerome Campbell, Arden Jenkins and Paul Lyles.

DAISY MAE RINGO

Services for Daisy Mae Ringo will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. E.W. Cosey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Ringo died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 53.

Mrs. Ringo was a homemaker and a member of Providence M.B. Church where she was a member of the Mother Board.

Mrs. Ringo was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Miller and Gladys Henderson Robers; a brother, Jack Miller; four sisters, Evelyn Pettis, Marcella Wade, Gladys Henderson and Theresa Washington.

Mrs. Ringo is survived by her husband, Henry Ringo Sr. of Vicksburg; a son, Henry Ringo III of Jackson; a brother, Benny Miller of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Flora Swain of Greenville; two grandsons, Christopher Ringo and Christian Ringo, both of Jackson; nieces; nephews; cousins; and other relatives.
