The Eagles opened a double-digit lead in the third quarter, but Copiah came back to tie it at 42-42 early in the fourth. PCA put together a run to take the lead, then held off the Colonels by hitting 6 of 8 free throws in the final two minutes.

Tyler Berch had 14 points to lead Copiah (3-8), an Academy-AAA school, while Patrick Williams added 13 points and Casey Tabo had nine.
