ROBERT LEE BROWN

Robert Lee Brown died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 71.

Mr. Brown was a native of Tunica and a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mat Sinking Unit after 30 years.

After retiring, Mr. Brown began his own repair shop for lawn mowers and other lawn equipment. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lena Lewis and Nolan Brown, and one brother, McKinley Brown.

He is survived by Lillian Bertha Clark of Vicksburg; a son, Robert Lee Brown Jr., of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Lynette Brown of College Park, Ga.; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Robbins Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Lane officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

JACK GRAHAM

NEWELLTON Jack Graham died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, in Newellton. He was 50.

Mr. Graham was born in Rayville, La.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Irma Graham, and a brother, John Wayne Graham.

He is survived by his wife, Bess Graham; two daughters, Elsie Jones and Syd Bowen, both of Newellton; a son Beau Butler of Newellton; three brothers, Woodrow Graham, Pete Graham and George Graham; and two grandchildren, Buddy Butler and Makayla Bowen, both of Newellton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christian Fellowship Church in Winnsboro with the Revs. George Ferrington and Gene Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Family Cemetery near Newellton.

Visitation will be at 2 p.m. today at Christian Fellowship Church and from 9 a.m. Monday until the service.

LOUISE WOOLEY

Louise Wooley died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 79.

Mrs. Wooley was born in Birmingham, Ala., and moved to Vicksburg in 1945. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Thurghmond Wooley; her parents, Charlie M. and Pearl Romanger Bradford; a son, Roger Craft; a granddaughter, Sherri Craft; and two brothers, Joseph Bradford and Charles Bradford.

She is survives by a son, Lloyd George Craft Jr. of Concord, Calif.; five daughters, Gloria Craft, Sharon Davis, Tamara Warnock and Hope M. Bailey, all of Vicksburg, and Charlene Braddy of Sorrento, Fla.; two brothers, Carl P. Bradford of Sarasota, Fla., and Marvin H. Bradford of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie O’Quinn officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Monday until the service.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS, 39213.

Pallbearers will be Dewight Baker, James Davis, Paul Braddy, Bob Strange, Johnny Hicks and Gary Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Abbott, Bill Noble, Joe Adams and Gary Pettway.
