WILLIAM T. COLLIGAN

TALLULAH William T. “Bill” Colligan died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. He was 77.

Mr. Colligan was born in Tallulah. He was a U.S. Navy/Marine Corpsman serving in the Pacific Campaign. He was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic achievement. He had been a licensed pharmacist for 54 years and was a member of First Baptist church of Tallulah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vores and Carrie Colligan; a sister, Sarah Breaux; and a brother, Pat Colligan.

He is survived by a sister, Rosemary Myrick of Shreveport; his brother; Joe Colligan of Port Sulphur, La.; and other relatives and friends, including Lawson Myrick of Shreveport and Jean Colligan of Sulphur; Katie and Roe Cagnolatti, Nancy Williams, Kathryn Van and Dawn Landry, all of Monroe and Dr. Dale Cagnolatti of Rayville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mac Cagnolatti Jr., Larry Cox, Brian Cox, Dr. Dale Cagnolatti, Bill Yerger Jr. and John Eubanks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roe Cagnolatti, Charles Vining, Boone Halbach and Jack Folk.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Public Broadcasting or to a favorite charity.

EVERETT OGLE

Everett “JR” Ogle died Friday, April 19, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 70.

Born in James Crossing, Miss., Mr. Ogle had lived in Vicksburg most of his life. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Local Carpenters Union No. 1964. He was a veteran of the Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist church.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Johnson Ogle of Vicksburg; two sons, Louis E. Ogle and James E. Ogle, both of Vicksburg; his daughter, Paula M. Ebeling of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Tony Baker, Charles Ray Johnson, Jason Kyles, Billy Vandevender and Robert Kinley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul Pierce, Mary Jordan, Dewey Hart, Bobby Joe Adams, Cliff Ferrell, Richard Moore, Matt Green and Kenny Pugh.
