Stella C. Banchetti

Stella C. Banchetti died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at River Region West. She was 81.

Mrs. Banchetti was a native of Lake Village, Ark., and had lived in Vicksburg since 1943. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was a former member of St. Paul Altar Society.

Mrs. Banchetti was preceded in death by her parents, Florio and Anna Cingolani; her husband, Allen J. Banchetti; three brothers, Aldo Cingolani, Duillio “Buck” Cingolani and Louis “Bill” Cingolani; and two sisters, Victoria Banchetti and Eleanor Dolci.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Dickens of Houston, Texas, and Carolyn B. Harrison of Vicksburg; two brothers, Sam Cingolani of Lake Village and Orlando Cingolani of McGehee, Ark.; two sisters, Eliza Reginelli of Lake Village and Sister Patrick Cingolani O.S.B. of Fort Smith, Ark.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. James O’Riordan officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Riles Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. Friday until the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michael W. Bounds, K. Al Bounds, C. Jace Pugh, Brian J. Pugh, Danny Ray Doty Jr., John J. Banchetti, Paul A. Banchetti and Dan Daily.

Nannie J. Banks

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. Nannie J. Banks died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in Gonzales, La. She was 100.

Ms. Banks was a former resident of Philadelphia, Miss.

Survivors include two sons, Sharp W. Banks Jr. of Vicksburg and Harry Glynn Banks of Philadelphia; a daughter, Sharron Lynn Savell of Gonzales; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mack Culbert

FAYETTE Mack Culbert died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at Natchez Community Hospital. He was 68.

Mr. Culbert was born in Adams County to the late Willie Culbert and Enetter Felton. He was a retired logger and a member of Salem M.B. Church in Fayette.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Walker Shaw Culbert; and three brothers, Robert Lee Culbert, the Rev. Lethel Culbert and J.C. Culbert.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Culbert of Fayette; a son, Jimmie Williams of Natchez; one brother, Ernest Lee Culbert of Fayette; two sisters, Varnette Culbert and Willie Mae Monroe, both of Fayette; and friends and other relatives, including Luther Felton of Fayette and Fannie Lee Monroe of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Salem M.B. Church with the Rev. John Frye officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at Rollins Chapel in Fayette.

Pallbearers will be Larry Fulton, Jerry Fulton, Willie Culbert, Dennis Culbert, Clarence Culbert, Freddie Felton and Sam Felton Jr.

Antoine Devone Plump

Services for Antoine Devone Plump will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Boykins officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be today at Robbins Funeral Home followed by a Rosary from 6 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Plump died Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, in Atlanta, Ga. He was 31.

A resident of Atlanta, he was employed by Delta Airlines. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vicksburg.

Survivors include his father, Archie Plump of Vicksburg; his mother, Dorothy Fair of Atlanta; a daughter; two sisters; a brother; and other relatives.
