A Vicksburg woman faces charges of aggravated assault after hitting another woman with a vehicle after the two argued over a man, police said Saturday.
Cleotha R. McCoy, 33, 2001 Ford St., is accused of hitting Dorothy Touchberry, 24, no address available, with a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban and leaving the scene after the two argued, said Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department.
The attack in the 1300 block of Bay Street was reported at 2:30 p.m. Friday, and McCoy surrendered at police headquarters at 8 that night.
Touchberry was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
McCoy was released at 10 p.m. Friday on a $15,000 bond.
