Mack Ross Snow

PHILADELPHIA — Mack Ross “Max” Snow died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at his home in Philadelphia. He was 69.
Mr. Snow lived in the Stallo community most of his life. He worked as a pilot for a number of years at Vicksburg Mid-River Service, owned and operated Snow’s Grocery and was retired from Edwards Electric. He had been employed for six years for Frasier’s Pest Control and served as chief of the Stallo Fire Department.
Mr. Snow was a member of Stallo Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Gus Snow and Dorothy Ellis Snow; a sister, Mary Charles Snow; and four brothers, Homer Snow, Frank Snow, Bobby Snow and Billy Dan Snow.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ann Baxter Snow of Philadelphia; one son, Craig Snow of Philadelphia; a brother, Paul Snow of Philadelphia; a grandson; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Joyce Wells of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stallo Methodist Church with the Revs. Ray Luke, Chris Vowell and Ron Swanke officiating. Burial will follow at the Snow Family Cemetery in Stallo under the direction of John E. Stephens Funeral Services.
