EDWARDS — Services for James Beacham will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at United M.B. Church with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery in Learned. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with family hour from 6 until 7.

Mr. Beacham died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 91.

He was a member of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church where he served as a trustee. He was employed at Cal-Maine Company for 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mozella Beacham; a brother, Harrie Beacham; and two sisters, Octavie Coleman and Rosie Turner.

Survivors include a daughter, Valerie Green of Edwards; a son, Vern Lee Peoples of Bolton; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
