Vicksburg police officer Burt Ryan and delivery driver Ricky Byrd work to remove an AT&T cable from the top of Byrd’s truck Thursday afternoon on Cain Ridge Road near Rhodes Drive. Byrd was headed west on Cain Ridge when the top of his truck struck and dragged the line with it. Byrd and Ryan removed the cable from the truck, but AT&T employees continued to repair the damage after dark.
