UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — Blanche “Barbara” Weekless died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at her home in Upper Marlboro, Md. She was 72.

Miss Weekless was born in Vicksburg to the late Robert and Artiemese Weekless. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and had worked as an X-ray technician supervisor for the East Coast Group Health Association Inc.

She is survived by a sister, Artiemese “Snooks” Cruthird; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Clinton, Md. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, Md., under the direction of Lee Funeral Home Inc. of Clinton. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the service.
