Marian Rodgers

Marian “Mickey” Rodgers died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Promise Hospital. She was 85.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Arkansas and lived in Vicksburg for the past 54 years. She was a retired secretary for the Vicksburg Warren School District. She was a member of Refuge Church of God.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nell West and Lois Profit; and a brother, Randall McCain.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey Rodgers of Vicksburg; three sons, Tim Rodgers and Richard Rodgers, both of Vicksburg, and Randy Rodgers of Manchester, Calif.; a daughter, Tere Crutchfield of Vicksburg; a brother, Don White of Hampton, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Tony Winkler and Ted Crotwell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Rodgers, Reed Rodgers, Syd Johnston, Brad Babb, Greg Scurria and Nathan Ross.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly Hambright, Debbie Bosarge, Phylis White, Peggy Demeranville, Matilda Stewart and Tammy Cooper.
