Running like well-oiled machines, Crawford Street United Methodist Church and The Church of the Holy Trinity, Episcopal know what it takes to pull off a successful turkey dinner.
Combined, the two churches have more than 170 years of experience putting on the annual events scheduled for November.
Barbara Sartor, a member of CSUMC has already lined up volunteers to cook turkeys for the event.
“We have 40 turkey-bakers, baking 62 turkey breasts that weigh from 12 to 14 pounds,” she said.
