Services for Timothy Burse Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Traveler’s M.B. Church with Elder Willie Bland Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Burse died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.

He was a self-employed carpenter and painter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland Sr. and Alean Williams Burse.

Survivors include a son, Timothy Burse Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Stacey Harris of Dallas and Tamia Burse of Vicksburg; seven brothers, John Burse and Willie Green, both of Vicksburg, Christopher Burse and Cleveland Burse Jr., both of Dallas, Carl Graves of Shreveport, La., Jimmy Burse of Byram and Robert Mason of Bolton; three sisters, Sherry Burse, Linda Burse and Ida Burse, all of Vicksburg; one granddaughter; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including Margaret Williams and Mary Graves of Vicksburg.
