Florine Roberson Beacham

Florine Roberson Beacham of Vicksburg died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at her home. She was 73.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was active in the Ladies Sodality, and the Vicksburg Benevolent Homecoming Club.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Evelyn Haley and Armine and Mattie Roberson; parents, Oscar and Evelyn Roberson; brothers, Oscar Roberson Jr, and David L. Roberson; and sister, Faye Roberson.
Survivors include her husband, Norval Beacham of Vicksburg; seven daughters, Cynthia L. Sims and Freddie R. Watson of Vicksburg, Evelyn Beacham, Gwendolyn Beacham Hall, Miriam Beacham Griffin and Noreen Jones, all of Atlanta, and Monica Gregory of Dallas; three brothers, James Roberson of Enterprise , Ala., Michael Roberson of Jackson, and Ronald Roberson of Houston, Texas; six sisters, Dorothy Lambert of St, Louis, Lena M. Roberson of Vicksburg, Beatrice Carr of Jackson, Connie Fleming of Houston, Texas, Linda Brown of Miami, and Barbara Wesley of Dallas; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday,  Feb. 1, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Malcolm O’Leary officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be said from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
