John Michael Ryan died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Hospice Ministries Hospital in Ridgeland. He was 64.

Mr. Ryan graduated from St. Aloysius High School in 1966 and later from Mississippi State University. He was retired from the banking and financial services industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Councill Ryan and Mildred Duffey Ryan.

Survivors include two sisters, Ellen Ryan Jenkins of Brandon and Milly Ryan-Harshman, of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Charles C. Ryan, Jr., of Beaumont, Texas, and James Duffey Ryan of Tallahassee, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are at noon Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Lalor officiating. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
