Avel Marie Gardner, of Vicksburg, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 62.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Silver Creek Baptist Church in New Hebron.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.

J&M Funeral Home of Mendenhall has charge of the arrangements.
