A Clinton man accused of taking money from an auto parts store where he worked was free on bail this morning.

Eric Watson, 39, who lives on Lake Forest Lane in Clinton, was arrested at 3:30 p.m.Tuesday in Jackson and charged with embezzlement, said Vicksburg Police Lt. Troy Kimble.

Watson is accused of taking over $1,900 from Advanced Auto Parts where he was employed as general manager, and an audit revealed the missing cash, Kimble said.

Watson posted $5,000 bail and was released from the Warren County Jail, Kimble said.
