Walter Gaines of Vicksburg died at his home. He was 57.

He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a brick layer.

Survivors include his father, Walter Kelly of Vicksburg; mother, Ruby Lee Gaines of Vicksburg; two brothers, Michael Gaines and Ronnie Gaines, both of Vicksburg; sisters, Geraldine Gaines and Yvonne Dollison, both of Vicksburg, and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery .

Visitation be from 6 to 7 p.m Friday at funeral home.
