St. Al tennis defeats French Camp

St. Aloysius started its tour of northeast Mississippi with a victory.

Aaron Mathis won his boys singles match 6-0, 6-0, and the Flashes swept all four doubles points to beat French Camp 5-2 on Tuesday.

Michael Foley and Austin Mathis won the No. 1 boys doubles point 6-2, 6-0, while Luke Eckstein and Grayson Parman won in No. 2 doubles 6-0, 6-3.

Kori Vessell and Allie Falls took the No. 1 girls doubles match 2-6, 6-3, 10-7, and Jackson Oakes and Madison Willis won 7-6, 6-3 in mixed doubles.

St. Al will head north again this weekend to play at Starkville High School on Friday and at Starkville Academy on Saturday.
