PORT GIBSON — Ida Parker died Friday, March 21, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was 62.
Mrs. Parker was born April 10, 1951, and was a member of the Central Church of God in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Parker.
Survivors include her mother, Lettie Parker of Port Gibson; a son, Charles Parker of Clinton; three daughters, Penny Parker-Johnson, Chris Parker and Wendy Parker, all of Port Gibson; five brothers, Leroy Parker of Phoenix, Julius Parker Sr., Eddie Ray Parker and Clifton Parker, all of Park Gibson, and Elvin Parker of Vicksburg; three sisters, Cris Davis of Vicksburg, Frances McDaniel of Ocean, N.J., and Nadene Wingate of Florida; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Greater St. Mark M.B. Church in Port Gibson with Bro. Eugene Carney officiating. Burial will be at Fellowship Cemetery in Lorman under the direction of Rollins Funeral Homes Inc.
Visitation will be Friday from noon to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
