Haley Morgan Jones of Vicksburg and Michael Allen Murphy of Eupora, Miss. were married at 6 p.m. March 8, 2014, at Hawkins United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tommy Miller officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Philip “Sonny” and Teresa Jones of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip H. Jones Sr., Nadine Rozier, and the late Harvey Alvin Rozier, all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Allen and Sheila Murphy of Eupora. He is the grandson of Ladell Weaver, the late James R. Johnson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Lee Murphy, all of Eupora.

She was given in marriage by her father.

Charlotte Price presented the music.

Julianna Logan Jones and Matelyn “Mattie” Gaines Jones, both of Vicksburg, were maid of honors.

Bridesmaids were Elena Rodriguze and Lucy Hunt, both of Hattiesburg; Natalie Bowen of Oxford; Heather Woodson of Madison; Brittney Carmichael of Baton Rouge, La.; Laura R. Stiles of Colorado Springs, Co.; Chelsea Rushing and Ashley McCain, both of Brandon and Sara Ratcliff of Canton.

Honorary bridesmaids were Heather Williams and Spencer Brooks, both of Madison, and Olivia Hogue of Starkville.

Claiborne Bryant of Vicksburg served as the bride’s proxy.

Allen Lee Murphy of Eupora served as best man.

Groomsmen were Josh Foust of Southhaven; Reagan Gary and Derek Klipstein, both of Eupora; Brett Benson and David Cureington, both of Madison; Travis Sledge of Brandon; Dustin Smith of Vicksburg; Drew

Lance of Oxford; John Simmons of Yazoo City; and, Bradley Morris of Crystal Springs.

Ushers were Brett Bowen of Oxford, Wilson Brand of Atlanta, Ga., Glenn Alan Kittrell of Edwards, and Preston Dowell of Jackson.

Abigaile Bogle of Byrum was the flower girl.

Ring bearers were Porter Gary of Eupora and Quaid Farmer of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at The Arena of Vicksburg.

For a wedding trip the couple traveled to a surprise destination.

The groom is the owner at Murphy Medical Supply in Eupora.
