M-Braves fall against Jackson

The Mississippi Braves’ uneven start continued Wednesday night, as they managed just five hits and lost 4-2 to the Jackson Generals.
The M-Braves (2-4) have lost two in a row after a two-game winning streak, which had followed a two-game losing streak.
Taijuan Walker, on a rehab start from the Seattle Mariners, gave up three hits and struck out 10 in five shutout innings for Jackson.
Seth Loman hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning for Mississippi, but Jackson scored twice in the first and third innings and never trailed.
The teams continue their five-game series tonight at 7:05 in Jackson, Tenn.
