Dr. W.F. Marcuson III, director emeritus of the Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center has been named a Chi Epsilon National Honor Member.

The designation is based on distinguished accomplishments in the field of civil engineering and outstanding contributions to the object and purpose of the organization, according to a news release last week from ERDC.

Marcuson, who has served ERDC in an emeritus position since he retired in 2000, was inducted in March as part of Chi Epsilon’s biannual conclave, held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
