PORT GIBSON — Frances Whiten died Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home. She was 92.

She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Mrs. Whiten was preceded in death by her parents, Esco Reynolds and Larline Brown and a sister, Olevia Thomas.

She is survived by a son, Julius Caldwell, of Port Gibson; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends, including an uncle, E.B. Reynolds.

A visitation was held Friday at 1 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the McCaa Cemetery.
