The Vicksburg National Military Park will hold their annual Junior Ranger Day Celebration Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the USS Cairo Museum.

Themed “National Park Week: Go Wild,” the event will give park participants an opportunity to showcase what makes them significant, special, or unique.

The Junior Ranger program encourages America’s youth to explore, protect, and learn about our National Parks.

Admission to the park will be $8.00 per car unless you have a VNMP or Federal Lands pass. There are no additional charges for the Junior Ranger Day activities.
