The Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide a financial contribution to Eagle Lake’s 2nd annual Lake Fest on Saturday, May 24 on Eagle Shore Road.

VCVB’s Board of Directors approved a $500 donation for Lake Fest, a community fund raising event where about 20 vendors come to sell arts and crafts. The event will also have an area for kids, musical entertainment, a silent auction and food.

Vice President for Lake Fest 2014 James Cox said that the requested funds would go towards advertising the event.
