Annie Betty Wilson died on April 26, 2014 at River Region Medical Center. She was 87.

Mrs. Wilson was born May 24, 1926 in Gunnison, Mississippi to the late James Houston, Sr. and the late Mattie Hunt. She had been a member of Greater Mount Lebanon Baptist Church since 1951 and was in the senior choir. She retired from Anderson Tully in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Owen Wilson, Sr.; parents, James Houston, Sr. and Mattie Hunt; brothers, James Houston, Jr., F. Jerry Houston, Eugene Houston and William Houston; sisters, Paris Young, Deloris Wright, Bernice Ray; grandson, Michael James Smith; stepdaughter, Diane Davis; stepson, James Davis, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Gaynell S. Wilson; stepdaughter, Diane Davis; and stepson, James Davis, Sr.

Survivors include six sons, Joseph O. Wilson, Jr., Jeffery Wilson, Randy C. Wilson, Timmy A. Wilson and Danny Wilson all of Vicksburg; Billy Ray Wilson of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Earnestine Wright and Jennifer Wilson both of Vicksburg and Mary Ann Johnson of New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister, Barbara Williams of Vicksburg; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Greater Mount Lebanon Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
