George Gray, Jr. died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Promise Hospital. He was 70.

Mr. Gray was born to the late George Gray, Sr. and the late Ellen Gray in Leland and was baptized at New Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Edwards.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Olivia Gray.

Survivors include his sister, Mildred McFarland Hatchett of Vicksburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
